An important, but often overlooked, aspect of creating a prosperous business climate is our diverse venues, restaurants, and facilities. These are a great resource for promoting and assisting in your business event. The local community has various spaces that can accommodate a simple dinner party to business meetings and conferences, with a variety of amenities depending on the type of event and location. Below is a list of venues with business accommodations:

City of Carlisle Facilities
The City of Carlisle has two buildings for rent. The Carlisle Community Building and the Carlisle Recreation Center.
Community Building
Hold a small meeting or a Christmas Party in our Community Building just East of downtown Carlisle.
The Carlisle Community building is in the heart of Carlisle close to downtown. The convenient location is right off 1st street. The parking lot sits next to the property. The building can hold up to 200 people. It has a small stage that can be used for presentations or small musical groups. It makes a nice facility for small or large receptions. The kitchen comes equipped with a commercial stove and oven. There is ample cooler space for holding your items that need to stay cool. The pass-through window makes a nice way to serve or replenish a buffet table.

Recreation Center
This facility with 20 ft ceilings is great for a wedding reception, graduation party or any general get-together that requires a nice building with modern kitchen facilities.
The Carlisle Recreation Center is located just south of HWY 5. The Recreation Center is approximately ¾ of a mile south of HWY 5. This facility comes with enough tables and chairs to hold up to 125 people. It is equipped with a large kitchen with two stove/ovens, two sinks, and one refrigerator. The building boasts 20-foot ceilings and a beautiful stone wall. Neutral colors make it easy to decorate for any occasion. The Rec Center is a great venue for a small to medium meetings/luncheons too. The building is available weekdays until 4pm.

Log Cabin
The log cabin at North Park is a great place to gather your extended family for a day of picnic fun and recreation at Carlisle’s historic North Park.
North Park Shelter Houses
We offer seven shelter houses of various sizes available for reservation.
Aquatic Center and Shelter House
Both the Aquatic Center and the Shelter house can be rented together or separately for parties and picnics.
