Back for its sixth year, the annual Hide and Seek Ornaments You Keep activation will feature handmade ornaments commissioned by artists and hidden around Greater Des Moines (DSM) starting Friday, Dec. 5. This year’s scavenger hunts will take place in the following cities:

• Friday, Dec. 5: Adel, Pella, Polk City
• Saturday, Dec. 6: Greenfield, Osceola, Oskaloosa
• Sunday, Dec. 7: Ankeny, Des Moines – Western Gateway Park
• Monday, Dec. 8: Perry, Pleasant Hill
• Tuesday, Dec. 9: Newton, Panora
• Wednesday, Dec. 10: Carlisle, Winterset
• Thursday, Dec. 11: Grinnell / Grinnell College, Knoxville
• Friday, Dec. 12: Des Moines – Historic East Village, Earlham, Marshalltown
• Saturday, Dec. 13: Des Moines – Historic Court District, Norwalk
• Sunday, Dec. 14: Des Moines – Central Downtown, Urbandale
