Light Up Carlisle

“Light Up Carlisle”, is the second Sunday in December from 5 PM – 7 PM, for more information please see the Events Calendar. This will be the largest ever “Light Up Carlisle” with over 20 businesses with their inflatables to celebrate the holidays. Santa will be there to hand out goodies, wave, and wish everyone Happy Holidays. Come see all the beautiful lite inflatables from our local businesses. Bring the whole family and enjoy an evening of fun for everyone.

Remember to take time to drive by and see our local businesses and residents who will be lit up for the holidays.

Inflatable signs are available! There is no cost for Chamber members, other than any signage we may have to make for your business. Non-members cost is $20 for the display of inflatable plus signage. (set up begins at 3:00 PM) If you need to purchase an inflatable you can contact our local True Value Hardware at (515) 259-9872.

We have a traveling trophy, sponsored by “Living Magazine” for a business’s best holiday decorations. So let’s really light up the town and have every business decorated for the holidays. Last year’s winner is LaVilla Mexican Restaurant. Let’s see who is the best in 2023. We all need our spirits lit up.

We also have a residential contest, so let’s really get lit up with all residents lighting up the town. All judges will be viewing the displays the day before the event. Announcements will be made the day of the event.

This event is unique way of bringing Santa Claus to kiddos of Carlisle and the surrounding communities. The North Park path to Santa is lit with a combination of luminaries and inflatable displays by the businesses of Carlisle. Parents drive up to this magical path to Santa who hands a goodie bag to each child in car.
